Native Flowers

We have seen many flowers on our 4 weeks on the road but today in Cradle Mountain we certainly saw more than our fair share. Be prepared for a few more of these pics from time to time as I can't get over how in different parts of the country the flowers can be so different.

One thing I do find interesting is I have never seen a flowering Waratah in NSW yet they have it as their state flower. Today I saw one for the first time in 15 years of being in the country and it was in Tasmania - go figure!!

Any way I hope you enjoy these pics as much as I enjoyed seeing them in the flesh!
