Policemans Point is a small free camp on a gravel road near Ansen Bay, north of St Helens.

We came across this spot after checking out Wiki camps. It is quiet and has only a half dozen sites. Toilets are reasonably new too.

Our view is overlooking the inlet - rushing waters and also massive amounts of birds including a couple of sea hawks around low tide.

Great place if you are a bird watcher or want to fish although you need to wait until low tide for fishing as the waters are very strong when the tide is going out.

This spot is north of the Bay of Fires but we prefer this spot to the others in the Bay of Fires.
