Leaving Derwent Bridge we headed towards Strahan through the Franklin Gordon Wild Rivers National Park - World Heritage Area.

This drive is very picturesque with the rain forest and mountains meeting. It is very dense in growth through the whole drive. There are lots of short and long walks plus the odd waterfall too! Oh and a few lakes make an appearance along the way.

It is a twisty windy drive but absolutely spectacular. It’s also the only way to see parts of the West Coast of Tassie.
