Boat Harbour Beach - welcome to paradise!

Welcome to paradise!  This little place has been our final home whilst in Tassie. 

Boat Harbour Beach is 15 minutes west of Wynyard and 10 minutes to the Rocky Cape National Park. 

There are no shops here but a nice cafe at the surf club which does great breakfast and lunch - fish and chips were great!!  Unfortunately they only do dinner Saturday night. 

The beach here is beautiful with the bluest of waters. It can be very cool but also when the tide is coming in nice and warm. We swam here most days with Trent swimming across the bay - 1km return. Georgia also has a few swims here as it was very warm for her too. 

This place is very relaxed. There were a number of free campers like us coming and going, plus many locals coming to visit the beach and camping along the Foreshore. 

We meet some great people here and saw some of our other new friends - The Quinn’s, Marty and Amanda and their family and of course Darren - our new bestie! Thank you guys for the fun times!
