Sheffield is a quaint wee town about 40 minutes from Devonport inland. We accidentally found out that this wee town is a town of murals. There is a mural walk around the town which is worth doing. The town is celebrating 30years of these murals.
The murals are all hand painted and depict different times across the town and Tasmania- truly stunning to take in.

We visited Mole Creek and travelled into the Central Plateau Conservation Area to do a short walk to Devils Gullet - wow what a view! The walk takes up up hill and across the fire burnt Plateau to an amazing lookout overlooking the cliffs. The view across the valley allows you to see as far as Cradle Mountain.
We also went to the start of the Walls of Jerusalem track but it is a 3 day hike - we hear it has the most amazing scenery so one to put on the list for next time.
